The Canadian Society hosted another very successful event and thanks to all of you who came out and shared in the fun.  For anyone feeling nostalgic for a bit of Canadiana it was the place to be in Taiwan on Dec. 13th.  After all, what’s more Canadian than ice-skating, freshly cooked pancakes, maple syrup and Tim Horton’s coffee?  A special thanks goes out to Marcus Maidment for putting together such a successful event, along with David Kuo and the Canadian Alumni Association for attending en masse.   The popularity of the event was attested to by hundreds of pancakes and dozens of liters of coffee consumed by our guests.  So to all the skaters, eaters and drinkers who showed up and had themselves a great time, thanks for coming out.  It was great to see so many people taking part in and enjoying some classic Canadian traditions. We look forward to seeing you all the next pancake skate, as the resounding success of our first ever pancake skate has kicked off what’s sure to become an annual tradition.
