Thursday December 11 : CST's Annual General Meeting @ American Club

The Canadian Society held its annual general meeting on Dec. 11th with a little help from our friends south of the border.  This year’s year-end dinner was held at the American Club, and thanks to their friendly staff and manager Greg Hartigan for putting on a great spread for us.  In addition to a fantastic meal, there was also an open bar all evening.  

Best of all, entrance was free for Canadian Society members, another one of the many advantages Canadian Society Members enjoy.  So if you’re already a member, we invite you to take full advantage of the discounts and free admission you receive at the events we hold, as well as at many establishments around the island in the coming year.  And if you’re not a member, why not join and enjoy our member benefits.

In addition to great food, drink and conversation, those in attendance also voted in the Canadian Society Board of Directors for the coming year.   The Society thanks the board members for volunteering their energy, efforts and time in the coming your to continue to make the Canadian Society the success it is.

The Society would also like to express their deeply felt appreciation for two board members who have stepped down from the board, as they will be leaving Taiwan to explore new career opportunities.  The untiring efforts and contributions of Kevin Dempsey and Kim Fleming will be greatly missed, and we wish them the best of luck in their new homes.
